Workshop + showcase – 1st of February
Distinguished improviser, director and trainer Rocío Barquilla is visiting Málaga, and you have a unique opportunity to learn improv with her.
During this workshop, Rocío will teach us how to play the show “In the Spirit of Ghibli”. And that same night, whoever wants to go for it, will have the chance of playing that format in a public showcase.
When? 1st of February (Sunday), from 10:30 to 14:30 (4 hours in total).
Where? Sala la Puntual (in Huelin, Málaga)
How much? See here. We have a social scaling price system, and 10% of the proceeds go to a local charity for the homeless.
Spots are limited! Get yours today.
The show will be that same night at 20:00. First a 30 minutes show with the showcase of the workshop and then another 30 minutes of Rocío playing with Alfonso and some Mylaga community members. Read the info about the show here.
We contribute to a better society by bringing people together, helping them have a fun time and learn interesting skills.
And because we want to make it affordable and fair for everyone involved, all our learning activities have a “socially conscious price scale”. People who can’t afford the fair price can get a discount, and those who can afford the abundant price can contribute more.
We also know that there are people that can’t even think of doing improv because they lack something as basic as food and shelter.
That’s why we dedicate a 10% of all our benefits to a local NGO called “Angeles Malagueños de la Noche”. A food bank that provides meals to thousands of people in need every week.
